LMC 8.4 R16 APK Download: Files & Release Notes

R16 expands everyday controls: lens-specific ZSL/HDRNet frame counts, long-press actions, button zoom values and viewfinder resolution. Its processing and front-camera corrections are accompanied by an important migration caveat: several values in older configs need to be set again.

Documented changes

  • Per-module ZSL/HDRNet frame selection, long-press actions, button zoom values, and viewfinder-resolution controls were added.
  • Exposure control, merging, some front cameras, and interface-specific behavior received fixes.
  • The frame count is limited to 28 to match the buffers used by many devices.

Configuration and known limits

  • After importing older configs, recheck noise models, upscaling, black levels, and Julian color transformation values.
  • The source lists six named package variants and no separate default APK.

Install and test this build

Export existing settings before replacing an app with the same package ID. Install one variant, confirm default camera operation, then load a matched XML and test each lens separately. See APK installation, XML import, and crash diagnosis.

When does R16 make sense?

A reason to try it

Match a change to your need

You need per-lens frame controls or are investigating an issue addressed by its front-camera corrections.

A reason to keep your current setup

A working camera is a useful baseline

A working older setup would require more retuning than these controls are worth to you.

What to check when you switch

  1. Back up your XML.
  2. Inspect noise models, upscale, black levels and Julian color transformation after import.
  3. Test front and rear lenses separately before saving the revised config.
Config detail that matters

A successful XML import does not confirm that all old processing values survived.

R16 questions answered

Why is frame selection capped at 28?

Hasli chose this limit around device buffer constraints; it is not a recommendation to always select 28.

Why did my old config change its output?

The developer identifies noise-model, upscale and black-level settings as values to reapply.

Where is the default R16 APK?

The source lists six named packages and no separate default file.
